Challenge and solution

Key Challenge
To manage its diverse business lines with an obsolete, highly rigid custom system that lacked traceability and analytical accounting capabilities, preventing modern, unified management.
The Aritmos Solution
Implementation of Sage X3, "verticalized" by Aritmos with specific developments for cooperatives, integrating all business areas and external systems into a single central platform.
Implemented Functionalities
The project covered Finance, Purchasing, Sales, and Stock modules, as well as fixed asset management with Abel Entreprise, plus custom developments for share capital management, veterinary prescriptions, and products with weight loss.
About CORSEVILLA
Corsevilla is an Andalusian Cooperative Society, founded in 1982 in the Sierra Norte of Seville. Its mission is to improve the profitability of its more than 500 members’ farms by marketing their products and providing high-quality raw materials and technical services. Its main business lines include the production of award-winning goat cheeses, the sale of lambs, the production of animal feed, and the creation of cured meat products from Iberian pigs, deer, and wild boar.

Before Aritmos and Sage X3

Problem areas

A "very closed" custom management system
difficult to customize and communicate with other systems (feed factory, lamb center).
Serious shortcomings in traceability control
a critical aspect for quality and safety in the food industry.
Absence of robust analytical accounting
which prevented exhaustive control of costs and profitability across its diverse business lines.

Impact on the business

Lack of a global business overview
inefficiencies, and the inability to automatically generate consolidated reports and statistics.
Risk to quality certifications
difficulty in managing lots smoothly and reliably, and a lack of agility in stock control.
Decision-making based on incomplete data
without the ability to analyze profitability in detail by activity (cheese, meats, services, etc.).

Our solution

The strategy focused on replacing the obsolete system with a modern and flexible platform, adapted by Aritmos to meet the specific needs of a diversified cooperative, through three pillars:
1
2
3
Pillar 1: Unified and Centralized ERP Platform
Sage X3 was implemented as the central system, integrating information from all satellite programs (feed production, lamb classification, milk collection) to allow for global control and reporting from a single source.
Pillar 2: "Verticalization" for Cooperative Complexity
Aritmos developed essential custom functionalities for the business: share capital control, veterinary prescription management, and, crucially, "dual-unit" control for products with weight loss like cheeses and cured meats.
Pillar 3: Exhaustive Traceability and Analytical Control
The new solution enhanced lot and stock management, making it more fluid and reliable. Additionally, analytical and budgetary control per business line was implemented, which is key to analyzing the profitability of each activity.

The transformation: before and after

Before (with the previous system)

Closed and Inflexible System
Difficulty in adapting the software to new needs and customizing transactions.
Deficient Traceability
Stock and lot control was rigid and unreliable, hindering quality management.
Fragmented View by Activity
Impossibility of carrying out exhaustive cost control for each business line.

After (with Sage X3 and Aritmos)

Adaptable and Flexible Environment
Easy to customize screens and adapt modules to different sales transactions (cheese, services, etc.).
Fluid and Reliable Stock Management
Total control over lots and items, improving traceability and final product quality.
Analytical Control by Business Line
Ability to analyze the profitability of each activity (cheese, meats, supplies) in real time.
